WomenInc. Magazine releases their 2019 Top 100 Law Firms for Women Listing. The listing recognizes law firms for their inclusive, equitable and sincere commitment to advancing opportunities for women. The magazine also announced the 2019 Top Corporate Counsel Women listing, recognizing successful women attorneys leading as corporate counsel.
With their Fall issue focusing on women attorney’s in their role as corporate counsel, WomenInc. magazine announced their 2019 Top Law Firms for Women. The law firms recognized in the listing have been recognized for their inclusive advancement, equity and policy for women. WomenInc. also announced their Top Corporate Counsel Women listing that showcases an assembly of leading women attorneys.
WomenInc. surveyed leading law firms nationwide with objective criteria for consideration. Among those reviewed, the law firms that were recognized, had a demonstrated track record of commitment through holistic actions. Important criteria for consideration included activities such as; hiring and retaining women attorneys, promoting women attorneys into equity partnership ranks, providing leadership positions to women attorneys.
Appealing benefits and work-life balance policies of many of the law firms listed included paid time off, parental leaves, flexible work schedules and affinity employee resource groups. The firms in the 2019 listing also have a range of training programs focused on the development and retention of women attorneys.
