Talari Networks, the original innovator of Failsafe SD-WAN™ technology, announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Liz Barnhart, Director of Channels, to its list of 2018 Power 100, an elite subset of its prestigious annual Women of the Channel list.
CRN’s editorial team selects Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the channel. The Power 100 belong to an exclusive group drawn from this larger list: women leaders whose vision and influence are key drivers of their companies’ success and help move the entire IT channel forward.
Barnhart is Talari’s Director of Channel Sales responsible for driving the channel strategy as well as optimizing Talari’s partnering model and tool set. For the last three years, Liz has been instrumental in driving an increasingly larger share of Talari’s US revenue through the channel, including Tier I distributor Tech Data and Master Agent Avant.
“I must admit, this award makes me proud of the traction and momentum Talari has gained through our loyal channel partners; I pursue innovative technologies with a passion and my desire is to impart that passion to my partners,” said Barnhart. “Talari’s leadership in the Failsafe SD-WAN space has given me a platform to help our partners build, grow and thrive, and in the end, to help them disrupt and improve the world through their customers.”
Barnhart has more than 20 years of experience in IT sales and management. She has a successful record of new market and channel development at the OEM, Distribution, VAR and integrator levels. Previously, she held similar roles in EMC and Avnet Technology Solutions (now part of Tech Data).
“This accomplished group of leaders is steadily guiding the IT channel into a prosperous new era of services-led business models and deep, strategic partnerships,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “CRN’s 2018 Women of the Channel list honors executives who are driving channel progress through a number of achievements—exemplary partner programs, innovative product development and marketing, effective team-building, visionary leadership and accelerated sales growth—as well as advocacy for the next generation of women channel executives.”
“Liz Barnhart extends the reach of the Talari sales teams by engaging and enabling the most effective channel and alliance partners,” said Patrick Sweeney, CEO, Talari. “Liz played a major go-to-market role in helping Talari achieve record growth and market traction across several categories including: 50 new channel partners and 75 percent sell-through with VARs, systems integrators and MSPs.”
Barnhart joins several other Talari partner executives on the CRN Women of the Channel list including: Jennifer Gallego, Executive Vice President of Channel Sales, West, AVANT Communications; Meghan Neilan, Director of Sales, BCM One; Susan Kozak, President, MNJ Technologies; and Jessica Yeck Vice President, Strategic Sales, Tech Data.
