Natalie A. Brown is the Chief Executive Officer of Mesirow, an independent, employee-owned financial services firm headquartered in Chicago.
In this role, Brown oversees firmwide growth and profitability, strategic initiatives, shareholder value creation and all facets of corporate strategy. Prior to becoming CEO, Natalie served as Mesirow’s Chief Financial Officer, Chief Administrative Officer and President.
Brown is known for leading with trust and authenticity, she is an active member of the firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council. She ensures diverse perspectives in every decision-making process and prioritizes the fi rm’s intentional culture and reputation as an employer of choice.
Brown sits on the Boards of After School Matters and Big Shoulders Fund. She is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and the Executives’ Club of Chicago, where she is also a Women’s Mentorship Initiative Member and serves on the Council of Advisors. Brown is a LINK Unlimited Scholars Mentor and was appointed to the Dean’s Council of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
Brown earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and a Master of Business Administration from University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
