Mary Mack is Chief Executive Officer of Consumer and Small Business Banking for Wells Fargo. She oversees more than 67,000 employees in helping provide financial services to approximately 64 million consumer customers and three million small business customers.
Mack has held a variety of leadership positions in brokerage/advisory, banking, and finance in her 37+ year tenure with Wells Fargo. Prior to her current role, Mack led Consumer Banking, which included retail banking and the Home Lending and Auto divisions. She was also president and head of Wells Fargo Advisors, LLC, one of the nation’s largest full-service retail brokerage organizations.
Mack has been named by Fortune magazine as one of the “50 Most Powerful Women in Business” for six consecutive years, starting in 2016. She ranked No. 10 on American Banker magazine’s 2021 list of “Most Powerful Women in Banking” and was previously recognized on the magazine’s list of “Most Powerful Women to Watch” and
“Most Powerful Women in Finance.”
Mack is a board member of Habitat for Humanity International.
Mack holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Political Economy from Davidson College.
