Julie Parsons is Chief Operating Officer, Property-Liability, for Allstate Insurance Company. Property-Liability focuses on market-facing businesses that offer auto, homeowners and other personal lines protection with $41B in premium.
In addition, Parsons oversees a global team of over 5,600 people with diverse accountabilities ranging from product development, digital transformation to customer service, including Allstate’s brokerage business with $1.9B in premium under management.
During her tenure, Parsons has developed deep insurance expertise and held leadership roles of increasing responsibility, including chief actuary and executive vice president of Product Management. Parsons is an authentic leader admired for her servant leadership, systems thinking approach and proven ability to build strong teams.
Parsons is passionate about developing talent and empowering young people. She also served as long-time executive sponsor of Allstate’s Young Professionals Organization employee resource group. In the community, Parsons is a member of the national board of directors for the Posse Foundation, which provides college scholarships for young people with leadership potential. She also serves as the chair of the Posse Chicago Advisory Board.
