Gail K. Boudreaux is President and Chief Executive Officer of Elevance Health, a leading health company dedicated to improving lives and communities.
As the former CEO of United Healthcare, Boudreaux led the largest business division of UnitedHealth Group, where she had responsibility for approximately $120 billion in revenue and managed more than 60,000 employees serving 45 million consumers. Prior to United Healthcare, Ms. Boudreaux served as Executive Vice President of Health Care Services Corporation and earlier as President of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Illinois.
Boudreaux has been named as one of Fortune Magazine’s Most Powerful Women in Business and featured by Forbes as one of the 100 Most Powerful Women in the World. Additionally, she has been named by Modern Healthcare as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare, and received the 2018 Billie Jean King Leadership Award.
Boudreaux serves on the board of directors for Target, Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA), The Business Roundtable, the National Institute for Health Care Management, and American Health Insurance Plans.
Boudreaux earned a Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
