Eimear P. Bonner serves as President of the Chevron Technical Center and Chief Technology Officer. The Chevron Technical Center provides technical expertise to support Chevron’s global operations, develops solutions to transform Chevron’s digital future and deploys innovative breakthrough technology to support the future of energy.
Bonner joined Chevron in 1998 as a petroleum engineer in the United Kingdom and has since served in roles of progressive responsibility in the UK, Thailand, Kazakhstan and the US. As general director of Chevron’s largest joint venture, Tengizchevroil (TCO), in Kazakhstan, Bonner led the TCO workforce of 45,000+, ensuring strong business performance, advancing a major expansion project and building and managing stakeholder relationships with Kazakh offi cials, partner companies and communities.
Her previous leadership roles include deputy managing director of Chevron’s Eurasia Business Unit, asset manager of Chevron Thailand, and general manager of Corporate Strategy.
Bonner serves on the board of directors of the Houston Food Bank & the Awty International School.
Bonner earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast, and her Master’s degrees in Advanced Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, London.
