Constance Hunter is a member of AIG’s Executive Leadership team. In her role as Executive Vice President, Head of Strategy and ESG Hunter uses applied economics to capitalize on strategic opportunities to drive profitable growth for AIG and deliver sustainable value to its stakeholders.
Prior to joining AIG, Hunter was the Chief Economist for KPMG, a member of its Growth and Strategy leadership team and Pension Advisory Committee. She is known for correctly identifying inflection points in economies that drive critical business decisions. In January 2019, she was cited in The Wall Street Journal as one of the first economists to correctly predict interest rate cuts that year. She was also one of the first economists to correctly forecast the extensive economic impacts of COVID-19.
Hunter is a board member and past President for the National Association for Business Economics (NABE).
Hunter earned a B.A. in Economics and Sociology from New York University, a Master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and the Certified Business Economist designation from NABE.
