Cindy J. Miller is President and Chief Executive Officer of Stericycle. As the first female CEO of a publicly traded waste company, she is leading Stericycle’s business transformation.
Miller joined Stericycle in 2018 as Chief Operating Officer after a successful career at UPS where she worked her way up from driver to President of Global Freight Forwarding, a $3 billion-dollar business unit with 8,000 employees.
Since Miller’s appointment as CEO in 2019, she has modernized Stericycle’s operations while driving organic revenue growth. Miller also led the company’s rollout of pandemic-related medical waste disposal, providing essential services to fight COVID-19.
In 2021, Miller was named to the inaugural Forbes 50 0ver 50 list, which recognizes entrepreneurs, leaders, scientists, and creators who, after the age of 50, are achieving their greatest accomplishments and making their biggest impact while shattering age and gender norms. Miller also received the 2021 Gold Stevie® Award in the Female Executive of the Year category, which honors women executives, entrepreneurs and the companies they run.
Miller is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and completed the Senior Executive Leadership Programme from the London Business School.
